Newark Regional Business Partnership is pleased to present this unique opportunity to enjoy the hospitality of Anheuser-Busch during an Oktoberfest networking event at the Newark Brewery. Attendees will be treated to food and beverage courtesy of the biggest U.S. brewing company as well as an opportunity for a cursory tour of the bottling operation. Registration is limited and on a first come first served basis, with priority given to NRBP members. When we held this event last year we had to turn people away, so don’t miss your chance to enjoy this special venue!
Anheuser-Busch holds a 48.4 percent share of U.S. beer sales and sold 125 million barrels worldwide in 2006. The Newark brewery opened in 1951 and became one of Newark’s leading corporate citizens and most steadfast employers. The 88 acre Newark brewery produces more than 7.5 million barrels a year under the following brands Budweiser, Bud Light, Michelob ULTRA, Busch, Busch Light, Natural Light, Natural Ice, King Cobra, Rolling Rock and Rock Green Light. It serves New Jersey, Delaware, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and Connecticut and exports nearly 10% of its product through the Port of New Jersey and New York.
This special event is being offered by the Anheuser-Busch Newark brewery to promote NRBP’s building business efforts so bring plenty of business cards to this unique networking event. Brief tours will take place on a rotating basis so that you have plenty of time to meet and greet. Confirmation will be sent along with directions for entering the facility.
Reservations are required via online registration, fax or phone (we want to have enough food!).
NRBP members pay only $30, (non-members $65).
