Join Marylou & Jerome Bongiorno, the award-winning filmmakers of REVOLUTION '67, for a sneak preview of their latest feature length documentary.

THE RULE details how and why the highly unique Benedictine monks of Newark Abbey and St. Benedict's Prep are able to achieve amazing success with America's most vulnerable population: poor, inner city African American and Latino teenage males. While Newark Public Schools have an overall very low high school graduation rate, St. Benedict's has a near 100% COLLEGE ACCEPTANCE rate. THE RULE presents their "recipe for success" as a model for whole cities nationwide.

A post-screening panel discussion with scholars and filmmakers will be held.

Free parking available at the Essex County parking facility located at the corner of MLK Blvd. and Springfield Avenue.
