Event Description:
This Newark Insiders Forum opens a window on the many initiatives underway to showcase Newark’s entertainment, recreational, cultural and educational attractions. Moderated by Mary Sue Sweeney Price, Director of The Newark Museum, panelists will describe how their organizations’ efforts will lead to more visitors, economic activity and an improved image for the City of Newark. Nick Sakiewicz, AEG NY/NJ will discuss incorporating major sports and entertainment facilities into the city fabric and what’s worked in other places; Dan Biederman, BRV Corporation will discuss Newark Downtown District’s plan to improve the streetscape; Hector Ortiz will describe lessons learned in New York City and their applicability to the City of Newark’s branding plans; and Bob Provost of The Star-Ledger will discuss the collaborative GoNewark marketing effort now underway.

NRBP members pay only $35 (non-members-$70) before April 12. After April 12 and at the door, all attendees add $10.
