Event Description:
Paula Dow was confirmed as the 32nd prosecutor for Essex County in June 2005, a position she held in an acting capacity since October 2003.

The Essex County Prosecutor's Office handles approximately one-quarter of all criminal prosecutions in NJ. The investigation, indictment, trial and appeal process is complicated in any setting, but the volume and complexity of crimes in densely populated Essex County as well as antiquated infrastructure makes the job more complex. The prosecutor’s office collaborates with other law enforcement agencies, at the local, county, state and federal levels, and with the community as a whole. They also operate and participate in various educational and public awareness programs to reduce crime throughout Essex County.

Join NRBP to hear Ms. Dow’s perspective on fighting crime in Essex County and how reforms by her office will have a positive impact for those who live, work and visit.
