Event Description:
Each year, NRBP celebrates National Transportation Week by recognizing the men and women who make the Newark region one of the world’s most accessible locations. Our roads, rails, air and sea ports provide unparalleled movement of people and goods and enable us to compete as a global center of commerce.

Behind all of these transportation assets are public and private sector transportation professionals– some highly visible and others behind the scenes - who keep us moving. NRBP’s Transportation Council invites you to honor the following leaders:

Career Achievement Awards will be presented to Susan Baer, Port Authority of NY & NJ; and James Weinstein, NJ TRANSIT.

Leadership Awards will be presented to Jack Kocsis, Associated General Contractors of NJ; Bob Koska, NJ TRANSIT; I-78/W Peddie Street Ramp Reconfiguration; Port Authority of NY & NJ Traffic Engineering; Sheree Davis, NJDOT; and a posthumous award to Assemblyman Alex DeCroce, the long-time chairman of the Assembly Transportation Committee, accepted by Assemblywoman BettyLou DeCroce.
