Event Description:
Join NRBP for a special Let’s Do Lunch catered by one of Newark’s favorite local eateries, Hobby’s Delicatessen & Restaurant.

A Newark institution for over ninety years, Hobby's Delicatessen & Restaurant has been described as "Outstanding" by the New York Times and has been ranked by Zagat as a "Top 10 Best Buy in New Jersey." Hobby's caters extensively to businesses in downtown Newark and the greater Newark area. Hobby's is a popular spot for a nosh before every New Jersey Devils home game.

Investors Bank, an independent, full-service community bank serves a wide range of consumer, business, commercial real estate, non-profit and local government customers at over 80 branches across NJ and NY including several branches in Newark. It is the third largest bank in NJ, and recently rebranded itself as Investors Bank as a part of a broader shift to become a full service commercial bank.

In a recent member survey, respondents stated that they wanted NRBP to introduce more structured networking at events such as Let's Do Lunch. At this Let's Do Lunch, we'll give it a try.

When you arrive, you will be given two table numbers. We will ask you to take lunch and go to your assigned table. There will be two "rounds" of discussion with your table mates, giving each of you a chance to introduce yourself, your company, and your goals for this event as well as what you hope to gain from networking through NRBP. After the first round ends, we will ask you to move to your second table assignment so you can make new connections. We will draw door prizes following the "rounds" and there will be additional time to have further conversation with those you met during the "rounds" as well as meet other attendees.

Bring a supply of business cards, including one for a door prize drawing, and enjoy this opportunity to develop new business relationships.

No long speeches…buffet lunch…new business contacts…NRBP members pay only $25 (non-members-$50) if registered and paid by February 13. After February 13, all attendees add $10.
