Event Description:
Online registration is closed. You can still register at the door the morning of the event. Cash, credit cards and checks are all accepted. Members pay $40 and non-members pay $75.00.

Guest Speaker: Joseph DiVincenzo, County Executive, Essex County

Putting Essex County First is the message conveyed by Joseph N. DiVincenzo, Jr. who was first elected Essex County Executive in 2002 and reelected to an unprecedented third term in 2010. His list of accomplishments in Newark alone includes a $25 million restoration of the Hall of Records; a revitalized Veteran’s Courthouse; numerous investments in Branch Brook Park including replanting of cherry trees and restored sculptures; opening of Riverbank Park and improvements to Independence Park in the Ironbound. The County Executive has received great acclaim for improvements to South Mountain Reservation including the revitalization of Turtle Back Zoo and the openings of the Mini Golf Safari and McCloone’s Boathouse restaurant as ways to generate revenue. He has worked to minimize the cost of county government by streamlining operations, cutting expenses and negotiating more prudent labor agreements.

NRBP members pay $30 (non-members-$65) before November 28. After November 28 all attendees add $10.
