Event Description:

Beginning with the rehabilitation of Broad Street Station,nearby office buildings, and residential development, there is a new vibrancy at the north end of Newark’s downtown. Additional changes are underway by New Jersey Institute of Technology, Rutgers University – Newark, Saint Michael’s Medical Center, and the Newark Housing Authority at the Baxter Terrace site. Speakers include Steven Diner, chancellor, Rutgers University – Newark; Keith Kinard, executive director of the Newark Housing Authority; Ed Martoglio, RPM Development; David Ricci, president and chief executive officer at Saint Michael’s Medical Center; and Monique King-Viehland, president of the Campus Gateway Development, Inc.
