Event Description:
Newark Regional Business Partnership (NRBP) and Newark Real Estate Board (NREB) invite you to attend a presentation and participate in a discussion on a unique proposal to connect Route 280 with the northern end of Downtown Newark. The forum will be held on Tuesday, April 13, 9:00 – 10:30 a.m., at NRBP Conference Center, 744 Broad Street, 26th floor, Newark.

The forum will feature a presentation by Tom Banker, economic development consultant, and Al Zach, former engineer for the City of Newark, that describes utilizing an enhanced Orange Street corridor as a new gateway to the City. The purpose of the forum is to consider the advantages, disadvantages and feasibility of this concept.

Through forums like this, as well as a soon to be published newsletter - The Newark Advance - NREB and NRBP are promoting the thoughtful consideration of improvements to Newark that will enhance its appeal as a business, resident and visitor destination. The intention is to promote a discussion of innovative solutions and spur action on select challenges to Newark’s revitalization.
