Event Description:
The much-publicized cessation of work on the ARC Tunnel has dominated NJ conversation for weeks. As critical as ARC or some form of it is to the region, there are many additional issues:

•Will the Transportation Trust Fund be renewed in a way that will enable immediate attention to crumbling infrastructure, fund new projects, and offer long-term financial stability?

•What will be the Bayonne Bridge solution to keep the port competitive and how quickly can it be implemented?

•As the economy recovers, will congestion worsen and threaten the region’s competitiveness?

Speakers include Al Engel, Amtrak; Mary K. Murphy, North Jersey Transportation Planning Authority; William Goetz, CSX Corporation; David Tweedy, Port Authority of NY & NJ; and Pippa Woods, Governor's Office, State of New Jersey. Other speakers to be announced.
