IMAGINING THE FUTURE OF NEWARK

Newark Deputy Mayor for Economic Development Stefan Pryor has been in office for less than two months and has already charted an ambitious agenda that includes hiring a professional planning staff and creating a new city organization to lead economic development initiatives. His efforts got a jump start from the Regional Plan Association, which organized and facilitated a three-day “charette” that brought together the many plans and proposals developed for Newark over the past several decades.

This forum will be an opportunity to hear the latest iteration of a steadily evolving strategy that will shape the City’s development landscape for decades to come.
