Event Description:
Since September 2009, New Jersey’s premier news organization has named several new members to their leadership team including publisher, editor and editorial page editor. An ever-evolving communications world, new age of advertising and the most difficult times for New Jersey make the challenge of running the state’s multi-media news leader one of the state’s more fascinating business stories.

The Star-Ledger’s publisher Rich Vezza, editor Kevin Whitmer and editorial page editor Tom Moran will provide Eye Opener attendees with an intriguing look at how industry changes have shaped the Ledger’s business model as well as how decisions are made regarding news coverage and the publication of hard-hitting opinion pieces. The speakers will also address questions from the audience.

NRBP and Greater Elizabeth Chamber of Commerce members pay $25 (non-members $45) before April 16. After April 16 all attendees add $10.
