Newark Regional Business Partnership and The Star-Ledger present a Business Improvement Workshop, "Web Optimization" on Tuesday, June 23, 2009 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Would you like to attract more traffic to your organization’s website? Are you interested in improving your business’ rank in Google searches? Do you want to know who’s visiting your website and where your web visitors are coming from?

Focusing on Search Engine Optimization (SEO) techniques, the workshop will help you understand the basic terminology associated with website creation and administration. Topics will include:

• Determining the best keywords or phrases to optimize the search process

• Learning how search engines find your site

• Composing key content for your web pages

• Creating files, like site maps, that help search engines visit your site

• Incorporating tools to analyze the traffic to your website

Our presenter, Giulia Ianatelli, of Innovative Marketing Designs, is a small business owner who works with clients to use simple marketing tools –print and web-based – to maximize visibility for their enterprises.

Advance registration is required - No registration at the door. NRBP members pay $50 (non-members-$90) before June 17; after June 17 all attendees add $10.
