Event Description:
Online registration is now closed. You can register at the door the morning of the event. Cash, checks and credit cards all accepted.
The stock market has regained nearly half of its losses and the rate of job loss has slowed. The cash for clunkers program helped clear many car dealers’ lots and there are indications that the housing market is slowly coming to life. At the same time, many enterprises still cannot gain access to capital and the specter of rising taxes and the consequences of health care reform are adding to business’ apprehension about the future.
Are we seeing the first signs of recovery or are we just so exhausted by bad news that we are imagining a return to prosperity? James Orr, assistant vice president at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York; James Hughes, dean of the Bloustein School at Rutgers University; and Dr. Christopher Cornell, economist, Moody’s Economy.com will address these questions and more.
Reserved Partner Table of 10 with program acknowledgement is $600 ($950 non-members). Individual registration is $55 for members, $95 non-members if paid and received by October 9. After October 9 and at the door, all attendees add $10.
