Event Description:
NRBP's Annual Real Estate Market Forecast will feature a report on the economy by the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and highlights on commercial, industrial and retail real estate activity for the Newark region from Studley. Panelists will discuss Newark development projects as well as recently passed and proposed legislation intended to offer incentives for development that could have a particularly positive impact on Newark and other urban centers. This include the Urban Transit Tax Hub Credit, RAD, BEIP, and others. How meaningful are these changes, can they overcome the stagnant growth that has persisted for most of this decade and are these incentives enough to overcome high costs, stringent regulation and an economy in decline?
