More recently, Hobby’s has opened a concession in the Taste of Newark section of the Prudential Center. Hobby’s continues to sponsor Operation Salami Drop, which through donations from around the country has to-date shipped over twenty-one tons of salami to our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The New Jersey Ironmen, owned by Jeff Vanderbeek and Michael Gilfillan of the NHL New Jersey Devils ownership group, isa professional indoor soccer team that plays their home schedule at Prudential Center in the Downtown Core Redevelopment District of Newark.
